2023/02/23 – Training Workshop on Science Communication for MSCA ITN doctoral researchers

  30 January 2023

MCAA is organizing  the Science Communication Training Workshop which will be held on 23 February 2023 both onsite in Cordoba (Spain) and online as a satellite event of the 2023 MCAA Annual Conference.

Though open to all, the training is specifically designed for ESRs of MSCA Innovative Training Networks. Participants can attend the workshop either onsite in Cordoba or entirely online. The workshop will be a one-day full-immersion, highly interactive training session (from 9 am to 6pm), which will also serve as an introduction to science communication for those without prior experience. Participants can use their own projects as a practice case and will have the possibility to publish their article on MCAA’s publication outlets, for instance the MCAA Blog which is a registered publication for science communication (ISSN 2958-7867).

The deadline for registration is 20 February. Selection of participants will be done on a rolling basis, until all seats are filled.

Thanks to the collaboration with the EU funded project European Citizen Science (ECS), the registration fee for the workshop is 150 Euro, which corresponds to a 50% discount on the full price. Participants have an additional 10% discount on the registration to the 2023 MCAA Annual Conference main programme taking place on 24-25 February 2023.
